How Removing and Replacing Photos in the PMS Syncs to Airbnb and Booking.com

Understand how photo updates made in our PMS sync to your Airbnb and Booking.com listings

We understand how important it is to keep your listings updated with the right photos. Our PMS is officially connected to both Airbnb and Booking.com via API integrations, and we automatically sync your photo updates to these channels.

Here’s how removing or replacing photos works for each platform:

Airbnb

Our PMS is officially integrated with Airbnb through a full API connection. This means your property’s content, including photos, is actively managed through the PMS.

  • When you remove a photo in the PMS:

    The photo will be removed from your Airbnb listing during the next sync. You do not need to delete it manually on Airbnb.

  • When you replace a photo in the PMS:

    The updated photo will appear on your Airbnb listing after the next sync.

Important things to note:

  • Changes are typically visible on Airbnb within 30 minutes to 2 hours. In some cases, due to Airbnb’s caching, updates may take up to 24 hours.

  • If your listing is not fully synced through our PMS (for example, if you manually manage listing content on Airbnb), you will need to update photos manually.

Booking.com

Our PMS is also officially integrated with Booking.com via their Content API, allowing us to update your listing content, including photos. However, photo removal behaves differently on Booking.com:

  • When you remove a photo in the PMS:

    The photo will be hidden or deleted from your Booking.com listing.

  • When you replace a photo in the PMS:

    The new photo will sync after the next update, but older photos may still remain visible unless action is taken.

Important things to note:

  • Photo updates typically appear on Booking.com within 2 to 24 hours after syncing.

  • If you can still see photos after deletion in either the property gallery and room-level gallery after waiting for 24 hours, please contact Support via the Intercom chat. Our team can raise a service request to Booking.com to action the removal or deletion.
