This article helps you set your password and sign in to the Lavanda property management system (PMS) for the first time.
Before you begin
An administrator in your workspace needs to invite you first.
You need access to the mailbox the invitation was sent to.
Use an up-to-date browser, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari.
What you need to know
Set your password and sign in
Open the invitation email in your mailbox.
Follow the link in the email to create your password.
Create a password and confirm it.
Go to the Lavanda PMS sign-in page and sign in with your email address and your new password.
The Allow offline access prompt
When you sign in for the first time, you may be asked to Allow offline access. This is expected and safe to approve: it lets the PMS keep you signed in for longer without asking for your password each time.
If the invitation does not arrive
Check your junk mail folder.
Confirm with your administrator which email address they used.
Ask your information technology (IT) team whether external mail from Lavanda is blocked.
An administrator can invite you again from Settings, then Users, using Invite.
When would you use it
You are new to the team and have been given access to a workspace.
You asked for access and an administrator has set your account up.
Things to note
The invitation link expires after a while for security reasons. If it no longer works, ask a user with the Admin role to invite you again.
Choose a long password that mixes upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols.
Bookmark the Lavanda PMS sign-in page so that you can return to it quickly.
Your workspace name appears in the main navigation once you are signed in.
